What is Pilates? 

Pilates is an exercise system developed by Joseph Pilates to strengthen muscles, improve postural alignment, increase flexibility and improve overall health. Exercises are performed on specially designed equipment and on the mat. 

Who should practice Pilates? 

 

Everybody! Pilates is good for anyone, at any age interested in improving posture, flexibility and strength. Sessions are designed for the individual whether a beginner or an advanced student. No previous experience is needed to start. Exercise programs can be catered to suit any person who requires additional support, as well as anyone seeking a stronger challenge in their workouts.

What is a Duet Session?

A Duet Session is a Reformer session for 2 people. This is a great way to reduce costs, find an accountability partner and friend to practice with between studio sessions. Duet partners do not have to be at the same experience level. Sessions will still consider the individual's goals and fitness level.

What do I bring with me to Pilates? 

​

Bring a water bottle & socks. Wear clothing that you would normally wear in a gym environment.

 What is the studio's cancellation policy?  

​

We understand emergencies happen! We kindly request 24 hours for cancellation to avoid a full session charge. If you have an emergency, please contact the studio as soon as possible so we can offer the session to another client and avoid a cancellation fee until you are able to return.
